MyProGuide Inc. ("MyProGuide", "we", "our") provides its services (collectively referred to as the "Services") through its website www.theonlinetourguide.com (the "Site") and related mobile applications. By using our Site or Services, you agree to comply with the following policies:
Definitions
Guide: A tour guide certified by a government body or MyProGuide.
Traveler: Any individual who is planning to travel or is currently traveling.
Spot Tour: A tour provided by a guide for a specific location.
Platform Service
MyProGuide operates as an E-commerce platform, facilitating online bookings for spot tours. We strictly vet and certify only those guides possessing a license. However, we do not intervene in the services provided by the guides. Travelers can review tour details, make payment, and confirm their bookings on our platform. All users must agree to the terms of this contract before using any service or posting any content on MyProGuide.
Cancellation Policy
When a tour is posted on the Site, available time slots are provided for reference. Travelers can choose their preferred time and schedule appointments with the guide. Once confirmed, the traveler must complete payment to finalize the booking. If a cancellation is necessary due to personal reasons, the following refund policy applies:

7 days prior to the tour date - 70% refund

5 days prior to the tour date - 30% refund

3 days prior to the tour date - No refund

Cancellation policies may vary per product or service. If different cancellation terms are specified on the product information page, such terms will prevail.

Cancellations due to force majeure will be refunded at 100%. This includes unforeseen events like natural disasters, acts of war, etc. Please note that refund processing may take up to 30 business days.
Risk Acknowledgement
All tour details will be clearly described by the guide. Travelers are expected to assess potential risks before finalizing their booking. These risks may include personal injury, financial loss, or other forms of non-financial loss.
User Privacy and Compliance
To maintain a trustworthy and secure platform, MyProGuide requires users to provide certain personal information for account creation. This information, including details such as name, phone number, and email address, will be securely stored and will not be disclosed to any third party.
Users must ensure that all posted content and provided information comply with relevant laws and regulations, and do not infringe upon the rights of others or disrupt public order and good morals.
Service Termination
MyProGuide reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user's access to the Services, either temporarily or permanently, if they breach any policy or adversely affect the operation of the Site.
Jurisdiction
Unless otherwise specified, the terms and conditions stated here shall be governed by the laws of Taiwan.
